Royal wedding facts are coming in slowly but surely for Prince William and Kate Middleton's big day scheduled for Friday, April 29, 2011. The facts behind Kate Middleton's wedding dress won't be uncovered until the day of the royal wedding.  There are plenty of other confirmed details released surrounding the global event of Prince William and Kate.

Confirmed Facts of William & Kate's Royal Wedding:

  • Monarchies of Sweden, Belgium, Holland, Norway, Romania, Spain, and Denmark will attend the ceremony along with numerous heads of state and government officials.
  • Officials from the Queen's office will announce what Kate Middleton's royal title will be on the morning of the wedding.
  • Westminster Abbey will hold 2,000 guests for the wedding, 100 of which will be lucky members of the public selected to be part of the event.
  • Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding begins at 11:00 a.m. London time. Three clergymen will divide the duties of marrying the royal couple. The Dean of Westminster Abbey, the Very Reverend John Hall, will conduct the service then the Archbishop of Canterbury will preside over the vows. The Bishop of London will give the address.
  • Kate be transported in a Rolls Royce Phantom VI to her wedding. The fact that the Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla Parker-Bowles were inside the vehicle when it was attacked by student protesters in December 2010, make it a historical car.
  • Four of Prince William's ex-girlfriends will be present at the wedding, including: Rose Farguhar, Olivia Hunt, Arabella Musgrave, and Jecca Craig. Kate Middleton's ex-boyfriend, Rupert Finch will also be present at the royal nuptials.
  • After the royal ceremony, William and Kate will be driven by carriage through London back to Buckingham Palace for a reception hosted by the Queen. The procession will pass historical landmarks throughout London, such as Parliament Square, Horse Guards Parade, Whitehall, and the Mall. 
  • The cost is estimated to be $20 million for taxpayers, but the fact is, it will be more than that.
  • The royal wedding ceremony will be over by 12:15 p.m. when the royal couple step into the horse-drawn carriage headed for Buckingham Palace.
